Manchester-based fashion experts outline the Autumn trends

SUMMER is now sadly fading out, and a new season is upon us.  And the arrival of Autumn means out with the old and in with the new as we get to grips with the latest fashion trends.

Here a fashion expert at Manchester-based wholesaler, Whispering Smith, shares their advice on the trends we think will go down in a storm.

Here the Whispering Smith team of experts predict the top six wardrobe must-haves.

Stripes

Stripe knitwear is a strong foundation of any well curated capsule wardrobe. And this Autumn will be no different. Mix it up with different colours and shades.

Slouchy dress

This trans seasonal piece is uber relaxed and comfortable, now a timeless classic and accommodates a multitude of body shapes and age ranges. Plus, with a September heatwave predicted to last into the final season of the year, these dresses could be more useful than normal.

Oversized turtleneck

A must have. An oversized turtleneck sweater works fab with tailored trousers and for a smart / casual must have look. Also a good in-office look.

Zip neck collared jumper

These are big right now, and are only set to become more popular. So keep on trend with a zip neck collared jumper, if you want to complete your look this season.

Cable Jumpers

Stay current this season with a must have cable Jumpers, either oversized or boxy silhouettes are winners for this cable jumper trend.

Tone on Tone

Tone on Tone looks fresh this season, so dress head to toe in all your fav, neutral tones. It’s the perfect way to stand out
